ABC and Oprah's BIG GIVE has challenged abc45 to use a pile of cash to make a difference in the Piedmont. We have accepted the challenge! And now we have chosen a worthy family along with a worthy cause!
To make a lasting impact in the life of a family, and to make a difference in the Piedmont by giving BIG and building A Better Community!
We've found a Piedmont family that could use our help. They immigrated here from Vietnam in 2002. They have six children. One of their daughters, Ngan, has polio. It has affected one of her legs. Both of her parents work hard to support their family, but they still have many needs. We have teamed up with Piedmont Rotary to start a foundation to help those with polio and post-polio syndrome. Also, a local furniture business has offered to help furnish Ngan's home. Be sure to stay tuned for more exciting info and to see the impact a little help can have on a deserving family.
