Comment: I've seen several great deals around town which have inspired me to Buy Local. One was at the New Balance store in Winston-Salem. They promise to match or beat any competitor's price (even a price from the internet).
Folks around town are also putting up some good deals for Mother's Day and Father's Day - from floral shops to day spas and restaurants... if anybody out there has come across anything special, I'd like to hear about it!

Comment: There are some great mothers day and fathers day gift shops in old downtown kernersville. Look at the pottery shop on main street and papersassy on mountain street. I picked things up from both stores and was able to have customized initials put on some of the items, stationary and pens. A very nice touch! I don't know how much I need to say it, but please shop locally as much as you can!!! My nephew works at a local factory and told me that local business keeps a lot of them employed. Thank you for helping me share this message. from Walkertown by Sylvia

Comment: the local farmers market is also a good place to shop for gifts and local produce. They bring it comes straight from nearby farms so it is as fresh as possible, we use it as much as we can.For a father's day gift or graduation gift you should take your loved ones to a local restaurant that serves locally raised food. It will help local farmers stay in business. iGracias! from Greensboro by Maria
Comment: The best graduation gift, of course would be $$$$! But to be a little more special and tie in locally, a gift card to a local store and restaurant is the way to go. I like mi pueblo to eat, or little richards. If it's a place to shop try reynolda village, they have a lot of unique items. from Lexington by Sandra
